Wheelchair users have easy access to the main living space, terraces
and swimming pool area, with assistence needed to access the pool.
Accommodation spans three levels, each with a variety of verandas that
provide a comfortable space to relax and soak in the prevailing ambience
of calm and inspiration.

The house is an exceptional venue for special occasions like
a family reunion, or a place to hold a first class celebration. The space
can be tailored to your specific requirements: it is a perfect platform
from which to explore the neighbouring countryside.
Each room enjoys spectacular views and has bathroom facilities en suite
or close by.
All towels and linen are included, with extra sets for lets of more
than one week.

Living / Dining Area |
|
The spacious open-plan, double height living area has a tall
vaulted wooden ceiling with superb acoustics, ideal for music sessions.
An open wooden staircase leads up to a master bedroom and gallery.
At one end is a comfortable seating area with a mexican woodburning
stove. A large dining table, which comfortably seats ten, is adjacent to
the well-equipped kitchen at the other end.
Patio doors give access to the covered veranda for "dining al fresco".

Two Master Bedrooms |
|
Two master bedrooms, both with en suite shower and toilets, are
situated at opposite ends of the house on the top level, accessed by staircases
leading off the main living area. French windows open onto private balconies
with stunning views over the grounds and surrounding mountains.
The rooms are spacious and airy, with wooden vaulted ceilings, tiled
floors and electric fans to keep you cool.

The third master bedroom is ideally suited for wheelchair users,
with easy access to the large adjacent bathroom that contains separate
shower and bath facilities.
Patio doors open onto a large terrace leading
to the swimming pool area.

Twin Rooms |
|
On the lower level, two twin rooms with a Moorish feel share
a bathroom. These rooms open onto an enclosed veranda, with steps leading
up to the main terrace and pool.

Kitchen |
|
The kitchen is carefully planned with enjoyable catering in mind.
It contains a large gas range, extra large fridge, dishwasher and all
appliances and utensils.

Swimming Pool |
|
The salt water pool (4m x 9m) overlooks extensive gardens and
faces the dramatic peak of Maroma (2065m).
Ramps provide easy wheelchair
access from the house to the pool area and terraces.
The pool is regularly maintained by a service contractor.

Garden |
|
Wander through the terraced garden, discovering the hidden places.
Enjoy the shade of orange and avocado trees and the profusion of herbs
and flowers.

|
The sewerage system is a septic tank and no foreign objects are permitted
to be flushed down the toilets.

Kitchen |
|
The kitchen waste water irrigates the garden and therefore no toxic
substances such
as bleach or detergents are encouraged.
Ecological cleaning materials are provided. Hot water is supplied
by gas cylinders.

Refuse & Waste Products |
|
All bio degradable refuse is recycled back into the organic garden
for compost and a special bin is provided.
|
Recyclable products |
|
Glass, paper products, plastic and tins are deposited for recycling in bins provided
at the local village of Comares.
|
Other waste |
|
All other waste materials are collected in garbage disposal bags by a nightly refuse
collection service provided in the local municipality (refer to House Manual).
|
Water |
|
Andalucia is a drought area and we advise you to use water sparingly.
It is not advised to drink the tap water as it is occasionally
chemically treated by the local municipality.
Therefore purchase your own bottled water for drinking and cooking
consumption.

Animals are not permitted.
